Overview
Percent means ‘per 100.’ Convert: 35% = 35/100 = 0.35.
Key ideas
- To convert percent → decimal, divide by 100.
- To convert decimal → percent, multiply by 100.
- Fraction → percent: simplify, then multiply by 100.
